Changes to SKU-settings and the Week Plan
Changes to SKU-settings
We have restructured the SKU settings. Settings have been reorganized into categorized tabs, making them easier to find.
Default Origin Country has been moved to the first tab:

Variable parcel size settings have been moved to the Dimensions and units tab. It is now easier to find all settings related to dimensions and units:

Settings related to Expiry and planning have been given their own tab.
Delivery: Availability date at lot Level
You now have the ability to set different availability dates on the received lots in a delivery.

Improved search for short SKU-codes
We have improved the search. The SKU-codes is now displayed at the top if your search matches the number 1:1.
Full months in expiry date calculations
You can choose to use full months for calculating expiry dates.

Statuses when checking on order
You can now choose which statuses to include when checking availability on an order.

Availability can be checked by clicking Check Availability Status.

Use only expected sales in forecasting
It is now possible to choose to have tracezilla look at the expected sales when estimating demand- instead of looking at the entered sales orders. !!!! The existing sales orders are not going to be used in the estimation when Yes is chosen. In other words, only the estimated sales numbers are used.!!!!

Power Pack: Calculate availability date
With this setting, tracezilla can automatically calculate an availability date based on the SKU’s receipt control time and the registered arrival time of the delivered lot.

New Bulk Actions
Recipe: Easier Replacement of SKUs
We have made it easier to update recipes.
How do you use the feature? Select a replacement SKU and expiration date in the item settings under the Shelf Life and Planning tab:

Select one or more articles in the article overview, click Bulk Actions and select Replace with on repect > Raw Materials / Finished Goods.

Copy prices from replaced SKU
If you have replaced an article with a new one, you can also replace prices in a simple way. Select one or more articles, click Bulk actions and select Copy prices from replaced article > Sales prices / Purchase prices.

Block quick-creation for attributes
You can now block the creation of new attribute values, preventing new values from being created on incoming goods receipts or in the item settings. This is useful if you are working with standardized values.

If quick creation is blocked, you manage values (add or edit) under Company Settings > Structures and Classifications > Attribute Values.
Advanced options
New alternative inventory valuation model
We have developed a new inventory valuation model where you can choose which statuses should be included in the inventory value. The model is simpler and based on a different logic than the previous one. The most important differences are:
- In the old model, the value of a lot was reduced when the lot was sold or discarded. In the new model, consumption is recorded directly when the lot is used in production.
- For non-traceable SKUs, only the three most recent movements are shown in the history.
How do I activate the alternative inventory valuation model?
First, Version 2 - experimental must be selected under Company settings > Miscellaneous > Inventory > Default settings > Traceability.

After activating Version 2, you can choose which statuses you want to include in the inventory value calculation.

Note: This new model will likely be refined several times before it is fully finalized.
Improvement to forecasting
New forecasting improvement: more accurate material consumption on production orders
We have improved the calculation of material consumption in forecasting, so the system now avoids double counting when a production order spans two forecast periods.
Previously, material consumption could in some cases be calculated both on the day the raw materials were picked and on the day the finished goods were received into stock. For example, this could happen in a weekly forecast if raw materials were picked on Friday and the finished goods were delivered the following Monday.
With the new version, material consumption is calculated based on one scenario only. This makes the forecast more accurate and ensures that raw material consumption is not counted twice when production spans two periods.

Weekly Plan: Visual improvements for plans without a schedule
An All day time block is now displayed for plans that are missing times. Additionally, we have added a filter, Only include bookings where the time is specified. This way, you can exclude plans that do not have a scheduled time block.

B2B Commerce: Invitations from the portal
Your customers can now invite their colleagues directly via the portal.

You have the option to select Allow invitations to new users as the default setting if you want all new users to be able to add new users from the portal.

If you don’t want to select the Allow invitations to new users setting as the default, you can grant permission when relevant by creating a new or editing an existing user in B2B Commerce > Users.
NOTE: This feature is available only when using B2B Commerce as a webshop.
