What does Raw Culture do?

Raw Culture is an organic kombucha brewery in Vejle, Denmark. Here, tasty kombucha is brewed using natural ingredients, filled with a lot of good bacteria. Entrepreneurs Thomas and Magnus wanted to create an uncompromising kombucha that tastes really good and appeals to a wide audience. During the corona lockdown, the duo had the opportunity to rent space at the local Michelin-starred restaurant, MeMu, and could really start experimenting with different flavors and finetuning their recipes.

Raw Culture Kombucha is made from fermented tea and comes in three different flavor combinations. It’s a light, bubbly and refreshing drink that can be enjoyed on the go. Or as a delicious non-alcoholic alternative. Today, you can find their kombucha in restaurants, cafes, and shops all over Denmark.

Why did Raw Culture switch to tracezilla?

We had a look at tracezilla at a fair and were also in contact with Food Innovation House (a food organization that works to strengthen innovation, business development and growth) as we needed an ERP-system. Until then, we used excel sheets and probably didn’t have a very good grasp of everything. We fell for tracezilla because they are also a fast-growing Danish entrepreneurial company and passionate about the food industry. We got a really good onboarding with a lot of time for input and feedback in relation to best practice for food products.

Which tracezilla feature has provided the greatest value for Raw Culture?

The integration to e-conomic

I was not particularly inclined to change in the beginning, unfortunately! I used to invoice in e-conomic and thought it worked super well. Therefore, I was a little annoyed at having to change things. But I have saved an incredible amount of time! Everything is connected and as soon as we place an order, the products are deducted from our stock. So, we always have an overview of how much we have in stock. Both in terms of warehouse and production, but also the integration to e-conomic, tracezilla makes our work frictionless and super easy.

Automatic service lines and deposits

In tracezilla, you can automate service lines and bottle deposits so that they are linked to certain products. These are the little things that you might not think about, but it really makes a difference in your business everyday life. When we worked in e-conomic, we would manually calculate how many boxes a customer had bought and how much deposit the customer should pay. But with automatic service lines and deposits, we save a lot of time. And we avoid human errors by eliminating the risk of accidental miscounts or typing errors.

Input-output balance, certificates, and price lists

The organic input-output balance reports are insanely important. Before tracezilla, we may have done it a little backwards to try to keep track of everything. But now we are saving a lot of time. Also, when it comes to certificates, as we found out that tracezilla can keep track of expiration dates etc. The system is very intuitive, and we can also link prices to different customers with smart price lists. It’s simply so smooth.

The system is made for growth

It may well be that I felt it was a bit too early in the process for us to implement an ERP-system. But I can certainly see the scaling part of it for a company like ours. It has meant that we have been able to scale up in a completely different way because the system is made for it.
