Drop shipping (manually)

In tracezilla, you can do Drop Shipping of goods from a supplier to a customer, from a supplier to a producer or from a producer to a customer.

You can set up an automated flow. Go to Automated Drop Shipping

To do drop shipping, you link an order to another order.

Here follows a description of the manual drop shipping flow in tracezilla:

  1. Create your purchase order. You can follow the instructions in this tutorial.
  2. When you have created your purchase order and added lot lines, you can tick off the lines and click Create as…
  3. You have the option to link the purchase order to a production order, warehouse order or a sales order. You can select an existing order from the list or create a new order by clicking the + symbol. Click Create to create the order link.
  4. If you by mistake created a link to the wrong order, you can delete the link. Click the chain symbol in the upper left corner. Click the red button illustrated as a trash can. Confirm by clicking Yes, delete now!
  5. Make sure that the order details and the delivery detail for the linked orders are correct.
  6. When the order is send, remember to click the button Dispatch order.

  2. The production order must have the status Order to create the link. Click Edit in the middle of the screen and change status from Draft to Order.
  3. You can create the Consumed lots as lots on another order, if the specific lots is not selected, by clicking Create as…
  4. You have the option to link the production order to a purchase order or a production order. You can select an existing order from the list or create a new order by clicking the + symbol. Click Create to create the order link.
  5. If you by mistake created a link to the wrong order, you can delete the link. Click the chain symbol in the upper left corner. Click the red button illustrated as a trash can. Confirm by clicking Yes, delete now!
  6. Make sure that the order details and the delivery detail for the linked orders are correct.
  7. When the order is send, remember to click the button Dispatch goods for production. Click Receive finished goods when goods are produced.
